Bailey Dowling and Frankie Hammoude also went through open tryouts.

Good question, as if I'm not mistaken Conley was not invited or attended tryout. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am mistaken.

That happened with Mariah Lopez on the WJNT two years ago as well. I don’t know how the process goes for that as i believe it did bypass a kid or two who went to the tryout. But i don’t believe there were any OU coaches on the WJNT staff (Berg was the head) that year, so I’m not sure it’s the coach’s decision.

Right, Since the Junior team is every two years she missed out trying out for last summers team since there wasn't one.

Trivial side note: This isn’t Alo’s first tryout. She has been to other tryouts in the past.

For the jr team that would mean for her sophomore and Seniors years?

In the 2013 cycle, Ali Aguilar -- as a senior -- was the only HS kid on the juniors team... how times have changed
