Drake getting a No.2 seed over a team like Northwestern is a joke.

Well, good news FSU also struggles to hit and the pitching is good, most of the the time.  I think FSU is very much beatable.  I would not be shocked if FSU does not make it out of the regional.

Could have went either way but I would have gave Illinois the nod over WI this year.

Auburn or Baylor should be the 16 but the committee needed a Midwest school for busing. Pretty stupid

Wisconsin was rewarded for losing to good teams early. Auburn was there only Good win. IMO

So Florida possibly playing Texas A&M in a super regional match up.

I would’ve liked to have seen ASU get the 7 and Georgia/SC get the 8. I did not wanna see Guarez

Yes. Someone new. It’s not like we are getting out of it, but I’d rather lose to Oregon or UCLA (maybe send AO home for her last games).

I would not have even been mad if it was Baylor and they sent us there. I just don’t see any justification for allowing a team that won 1/3 of their conference game to host a regional.

that's terrible I know. but theres just something about those gamecocks and their will to survive that tells me they will be ok. Juarez is a stud for sure tho

Committee essentially gave Notre Dame credit for scheduling more tough games, even if they lost 3/4 of them. I recognize the importance of scheduling tough, but winning against that upper-eschelon competition should matter too. Teams like FGCU don't have the opportunities that Notre Dame have in scheduling multiple top non-conference opponents, even if I thought Pitt should have been in over ND.

And took 2/3 from Northwestern
Swept Nebraska who was first four out
Took one from Ohio State

Yes, they did lose games to good teams, but I think the thing to look at is how close those games were vs those really good teams:
Washington 4-1
Ok State 3-2
Arizona 1-0

Not saying that Wisconsin is a great team, just that their inclusion in the tourney isn't crazy

Pitt played THREE life-or-death games with FSU

That -- either -- should have gotten THEM in, or dragged down FSU.... I don't see how BOTH work

I mean really though? Both pitching staffs are struggling immensely. Both would go 0-2 in OKC imo.

I think FSU should have been a 7 seed at the highest, and Pitt should of been in.

I just want to know how, of all teams, Georgia got up-seeded from their RPI. Lu pulled another one from her hind end, for at least the 3rd time that I can recall.
