We did the 2 hour drive for one day last year (for week 1) and it’s taxing but I loved it.
Random story our first year (ignorant as could be), we went without a hotel. So we drove 2 hours to PS on Friday then 2 hours back to Pasadena; then 2 hours on Saturday to PS and 2 hours back to Pasadena; and finally 2 hours on Sunday to PS and 2 hours back to Pasadena. Sunday night was the night we vowed to forever get a hotel when going to MNC.

It's about a 5 hour drive for me. So that's why I'll just go one day if I do.

The RV deal is so good that one year we actually tried to make renting an RV work just so we could take advantage of the RV option. Plus it was cool seeing all the fans sitting around fires at night during the late games or after all the games were completed. I guess I was just waiting on flo to take hold at MNC before moving away. This tournament will have to become my yearly mecca, I guess. The wife said this weekend "how are you going to deal with MNC weekend this year? we are going to have to find some kind of tournament close to here to take your mind off it." Deb, you run an amazing tournament(s) (if you include Garman too).

It's time for you to get an RV and travel to the Nutter once a year

So is Flosoftball's coverage going to be available on demand? I've noticed the events they've been streaming lately haven't been available for later viewing. The reason I'm not at the event is because I'm working and that makes live coverage useless to me.

I don't think they had all games available immediately like they had 2016. I remember having trouble watching husky games.

By my count there were 26 games for the first weekend of Mary Nutter 2017 last year, but I only counted 15 available for on demand viewing on Flo's site, so it looks like nearly half of them were only available live. There were over 80 games at Mary Nutter 2 in 2017 and only 59 were available on demand. In other words, you would have missed a lot of games on demand.

The first weekend 2017 we had a day of rain and had to move some games to fields that FLO didn't have coverage on. I believe that is why there were only 15 available for on demand that weekend. I will ask about weekend 2. Good feedback, thank you.

I wanted to call attention to Mary Nutter and her love of the game. Every year, when this tournament happens, I think about her and how she loved the game. My dd and I met her once at a tournament. From then on, she seemed to remember us and I really don't know why. I get the feeling that happened to a lot of people. I am glad that some saw fit to name a tournament after her and that it has become such an outstanding tournament. Mary would be proud of it!

Here is the answer to On Demand games:Yes, FloSoftball's coverage of Mary Nutter will be on demand. Archives of every game will be uploaded to FloSoftball.com and anyone with a PRO subscription will be able to view the game on demand. It usually takes 24-48 hours after the event concludes to get games on-site, but they will most certainly be there for anyone who isn't able to watch a game LIVE.
