Anyone know when the schedule will be released for the 2018 Kajikawa Classic (ASU tourney)?  I have tried google searches and have come up empty.  I can't even find a full list of teams.

These f****** are the most apathetic pieces of garbage. You do good work, midwestfp, but if you have a sked before thanksgiving, I'll send you a sixpack. Need Deb to get down to Tempe to show them how to do it

Don't know if it helps you but South Dakota has listed their games for the classic, if your looking for dates or some of the teams.

Deb is THE BEST!

Maybe Cheri needs to hire Deb, then again not sure if even Deb could salvage that.

Kajikawa last year felt like O'Donnell's Citrus Classic of recent years. A once-mighty fine event that, other than its location, has become a waste of time and an RPI sandbag for the very few top programs still attending

The Big Orange will make its home debut March 2-4, hosting the Tennessee Invitational at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium. The Lady Vols will play five games over three days, squaring off against Charleston Southern, Toledo and South Alabama before opening Southeastern Conference (SEC) play with a three-game home stand against Missouri March 9-11.

Tennessee will then play its final regular-season tournament, traveling to Hawaii from March 14-17 to take part in the Hawaii Tournament along with Cleveland State, North Dakota, host Hawaii, and Maryland before resuming SEC play.

The Lady Vols will also look to extend their 92-game unbeaten streak against in-state opponents with games against foes from the Volunteer state (Tennessee State, Memphis and East Tennessee State).

Fresno state schedule at Kajikawa:

FRESNO, Calif. – A non-conference schedule with 12 games against 2017 NCAA Tournament teams – including games against three Women's College World Series (WCWS) teams – and 26 total home games highlight the 2018 Fresno State softball schedule announced by head coach Linda Garza on Monday.

"In the 2018 season we play WCWS opponents as well as top-25 competition," Garza said. "We will be challenged and tested all year, in the preseason and in conference play. Fresno State softball has always competed against the best and that is something our players and program take pride in."

The Bulldogs, who qualified for the NCAA Regionals for the third consecutive season and 33rd time in the last 36 years in 2017, will face seven teams that were nationally ranked at the end of last season. With 14 newcomers on the 2018 roster, Fresno State plays 15 total games against 2017 NCAA Tournament teams and 14 games against teams that played in the 2017 National Invitational Softball Championship (NISC). A total of 29 of the team's 54 total games will be against 2017 postseason teams.

"With a number of newcomers on the roster, we will be challenged early playing a number of competitive programs who have had success in postseason play," Garza said. "Fresno State softball strives for success through challenges and this spring our team will encounter just that. The schedule offers a little balance at times along with competition against the nation's best."

The team begins the season at the Kajikawa Classic Feb. 9-11, hosted by Arizona State, and has its season opener against Oregon, which was ranked as high as No. 1 in the nation last season and was one of the last four teams remaining in the WCWS. The 'Dogs will also face 2017 Super Regional team Arizona, which ended the year ranked No. 9, and regional participant Notre Dame in Tempe while also facing two more Power 5 conference schools in Stanford and Purdue.

You're right about Tennessee...I had them off my list because we wouldn't play them there (same conference).  I did a double take on Arizona when I made my list and their name popped up on someone else's schedule for that tournament.  Thought that was odd as well.

Add Georgia, BYU and Utah to the above list, as well.

I know they try to get the big names at Nutter so ESPN can do all the green screen/interviews stuff...but this sure seems like a long list of schools for a tournament in Tempe.

What do you mean?

This is a tick upward in talent from last year, IMO

Oh, I'm not a parent, just a longtime follower of Mizzou.  I try to get the schedule put together before the school releases it.  Been able to do it for a few years now.
