Where will the Big Ten tournament be held? I believe Rutgers forfeited their turn in the rotation to Michigan, is Wisconsin up next?

....you do realize B1G tournament goes in alphabetical order right? So no, Rutgers did not forfeit to Michigan - Purdue (after Penn State) was unable to host and the first school in alphabetical order that was able to pick it up was Michigan....

Rutgers was passed over due to their current facilities.
How is Michigan the first school, alphabetically after Purdue that could host. Are you saying almost every other school in the conference passed?

Yes, Rutgers WILL be passed over this season (Rutgers comes after Penn St and Purdue but before Wisconsin, e.g. alphabetical order) because of facilities but it was Purdue's turn to host last year. They did not fulfill their requirements so it started moving down the list to who could pick it up.
Because there is a lodging component to hosting and MI was the first school that was able to secure the necessary rooms - which is a crap ton - in that short period of time.

Thought I read Purdue was actually skipped because they couldn't support the event administratively. They were going through a coaching change and didn't have the necessary softball staff in place during the planning stages.

the tournament is hosted alphabetically - I heard Purdue had to pass as they could not guarantee hotel rooms for the teams traveling to West Lafayette, so the tournament moved onto Michigan...the next in line to host.

Per my comment above:

You have to secure rooms for 12 teams over what is graduation weekend for a lot of schools. If you have 6 months to do it you're not going to pull it off unless 1) you're in a bigger city like the MNs/NUs of the conference and 2) you're not over graduation weekend.

Not much love for Minnesota's 2018 recruiting class from flosoftball. Here, then, are the top 2018 college recruiting classes as determined by FloSoftball:

We all know how imperfect those rankings are but... still... Utah as the third-highest Pac team all the way down at 16 is a little head-turning

Michigan's schedule was posted in a different thread. I could not find schedules for Minnesota (very curious about that schedule given what happened to them last year) or Illinois. Here's Wisconsin's 2018 schedule. Very solid. http://www.uwbadgers.com/schedule.aspx?path=softball

Did the ULL tourney get cancelled or are the Gophers pulling out for RPI reasons?

She is a RS Freshman which means Soph by academics and Freshman by athletics.
RS Freshman is the correct way of saying it.
