Arizona def. Louisville 5-3 at MNC, Louisville kept it close.

Oklahoma def. Louisville 2-1 at MNC, Louisville kept it close.

Despite their 0 for 2 day, Louisville looks like they showed up to play.

Agree. Showing some swag early......and a lot of season left to fine tune things.

Troy beat Pitt this weekend.  We are 2-0 versus the ACC, but can't seem to beat the Atlantic Sun teams (Lipscomb & UNF).  I guess when you have one pitcher that is what happens.

Much smaller story and I recognize the competition is not great, but Belmont is off to a nice start with a new coach.  This is a team that has averaged maybe 15 wins a year for the last 8 seasons (going back to 09-10 on their website) and they are 11-1 right now.

I look forward to seeing them 2 years from now.  There is no question they are headed in the right direction.

At this point, not an upset.  Didn't TxState beat UT last year as well?

Yes, you are correct. They beat them last March in San Marcos 9-5. I believe they also beat them this past fall.

USF in some difficulties. Best player dismissed from Team. Starting Catcher/leadoff hitter out for the season with knee tear and Donovan out with an injury. And it was looking like a promising year for them. Hope they can recover and get to at least a Super Regional.

Nevada scored 7 runs in the 7th?  What is Utah's deal now I wonder?

Georgia survives 4-3 in a strange game against Michigan State with a walk-off hit from Lacey Sumerlin.

Baylor beats:

Michigan 4-0
Washington 3-1,
UCLA 11-6

Easily the most impressive 3 game stretch of the NCAA softball season so far.

UTAH

Seems like only a week ago that Utah was 11-0, having just defeated Tennessee and LSU. Since then they have lost to San Diego St, Fullerton, Nevada, and umm... Nebraska - Omaha.
Ouch.

You know it's not good when your own website headline is "Utah finishes up play at Red Desert"
