How do you get run-ruled by Illinois and then beat ranked Cal? Man, this season is off to a really weird start.

Tyra Perry's the real deal. She will make the Illini a factor in short order.

It will likely be Florida in USA Softball and College Sports Madness, Florida State in NFCA.

If UF is unbeaten, with a win over michigan, it would be insane for them to not be 1 imo

I think it will be
1.Florida
2 auburn
3fsu
4 Oklahoma
I put Florida first and not FSU
because Florida beat 2 ranked teams whilst
Fsu didn't beat any ranked teams.

That Pitt performance in UCF's back yard is jaw-dropping.

So you are going to have to forgive me for these childish tempertantrums I'm going to throw with regards to GT this year. I don't know why I'm even stupid enough to continue to turn on these games to watch. It just makes me boiling mad. I've never been this embarrassed at a GT athletic team. Not even Paul Johnsons 3-win season. This is freakin embarrassing. Buford HS with Logan Caymol In the circle could beat this team. It's going to freakin drive me to turn it off this game and watch Auburn instead. What the high holy hades?? And how do you get to be a D1 pitcher at a bottom feeder P5 school with virtually no drive off the mound? This crap is making me long for the days of watching third string Tiffany Goodman in the circle. Oh and what was the point of building "the Mew" if this is the sh-tacular product you're going to put on the field.

Given that Bull is much better than UGA's supposed ace Gray, I don't think many will see this as an upset. Only in the rankings it is an upset.

It surprised me, though.

I think the upset is not that UGA got beat but that they scored zero runs with a pretty formidable offense.

If I wasn't already halfway through my bottle of self-loathing I would come out to Cali and hit you with it. [rolleyes]

No, but that's definitely my thinking as well. I'm not surprised we lost as I knew going in that Bull was good, but we just ran ourselves into too many outs. Remember when I said, "hey, I wonder if we'll stop stealing bases now?"... I think that time is now. Maybe not entirely but the overaggression on the base paths and the lack of aggression/heart in the batter's box did us in.

Good pitching always beats good hitting. I've seen that several times over the years. Usually true. just keep swinging.
